Sweet little bundles of joy. What is not to love? Wiggly little tails, clumsy struts and plenty of cuddles! If only that’s all that came along with owning a new puppy. Crate training, potty training, trick training and working on manners. All the not so fun stuff that you will encounter with your new canine companion. We are now offering a session specifically for your and your pup before they hit the 5 month mark. Our dog trainers in Connecticut know that being a puppy parent can amount to a lot of work. That being said, our puppy dog training program in Connecticut and the surrounding areas is designed to help set you up for success with your new puppy during those first few months!

Our basic obedience package will get you and your pup all the essentials you need to learn just that, the basics. In just four private sessions with one of our dog trainers in Stamford at Off Leash K9 Training, you will have mastered a total of seven commands. This package includes the Off-Leash K9 Training E-Collar which all of our dogs are trained on. The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1/2 a mile! This will be brought to your first lesson!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

Come | Extended Sit | Extended Down | Extended Place (they will sit on a specific location that you point to- chair, park bench, etc) | Loose-Leash Heeling (they will walk right beside of you on a leash) | Off (Negative behaviors such as jumping, barking, chewing, etc) | *Extended sit, down, and place means your dog will REMAIN in the down, sit, or place position until YOU tell them to “break” (release them).

This package is for those who are interested in taking their dogs obedience level further than just the basics. With this package, you would be completing all four basic sessions and continuing on to finish four more advanced sessions. This is a great program for anyone who  is willing to put in the time and effort with your pup. During these sessions you will be spending an hour each week with one of our local dog trainers in Connecticut. All of our programs include our e-collar as well. The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1.2 mile!

Is your goal to have your dog become a therapy dog? If so, you’re no different than a majority of our clients. Many pet owners realize their pet might be a good fit to become a therapy pet. Our specially designed eight session course prepares you and your dog not only for their therapy dog testing and certification, but also how to behave in order to be recognized by individuals as a perfect representation of what a well-trained therapy dog should look like. With successful completion of this program, one of our dog trainers in the Stamford area can evaluate and certify you and your dog!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

All Basic Obedience (Come, sit, down, place, heel, off, break) and FOUR additional sessions working in public, working around other animals and working on two new commands!

Does your dog have issues with dog aggression, dog reactivity, or simply go over the top when it comes to other dogs or even humans being around? If so, this is specially designed program may be the best option for you, your dog and one of our certified dog trainers in Albany! This package includes 8 private lessons. We will be giving your dog (and you) the skills, tools, obedience, and desensitization that is necessary in order to put you back in control of these situations.

WHAT DO WE COVER?

All Basic Obedience (Come, sit, down, place, heel, off, break) and 4 focused sessions (you will work your dog around dogs/humans during all your remaining sessions)

In this program, you will drop off your dog, and two-weeks later you will pick up a dog that is able to be outside, off-leash, and around distractions. Our two-week program focuses on practical, everyday obedience that is completed with a high level of precision, outside, off-leash, with distractions! Throwing in a bit of everything, our dog trainers in Stamford include general manners and socialization (dogs and people) into the mix everyday as well. All of the commands included in this package are taught through high-level distraction proofing to ensure your pup will be able to adapt and perform in all different environments! After completion of the training, owner will be provided with a 2 hour one-on-one session which will detail everything their companion does, how to handle them, and how to properly control them.
